FAQ
What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of 120 identified, naturally occurring, organic compound that comes from the leaf of the sativa plant. It is a safe, non-addictive, non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid, which means CBD can be enjoyed for its impressive therapeutic benefits, without the risk of a “high”.
Will CBD get me “high”?
No, it won’t! As mentioned above, CBD is non-intoxicating and, because we screen our CBD to have less than 1mg of THC and any other cannabinoids in each bottle, you won’t get a negative psychoactive “high”.
Is CBD legal in the UK?
Yes, as long as CBD companies respect the new regulations! Unfortunately, the line between legal and illegal CBD products has been blurred for years. However, since January 2019, it was made very clear that CBD companies are now required to submit a novel food dossier to the European Food Standards Authority (FSA) in order to be placed on the market in compliance with published FSA & Home Office guidelines. Sadly, most companies have not done this and as of March 2021, any companies without an application and testing submitted will not legally be allowed to sell.
We are proud to say that our CBD has been given Assured Advice from Trading Standards helping to give long overdue quality & compliance into the UK CBD market.
Can CBD help me with my illness or condition?
Whilst the research into CBD is ever expanding, CBD products are not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any diseases or conditions.
